...then you'll probably be interested in getting involved in our  'Open Workshop'  sessions, where we are continuing our series of builds for the Bandstand and associated devices.

What ?

The vibe here is about sharing skills and ideas, having a go, and trying new stuff out.... there's a very interesting mix of materials to use, and lots of scrap, so no worries about making more junk. The Spring sessions will be very practical and follow loosely the areas of:

• ~  Animatronics - Arduino, automata,
• =  Set & prop construction in various media
• ~  Sculpting & casting with resins and plasters
• +  Large scale screen printing
• ~  Experimental sound
• >  Lighting effects

When ?

Thursdays. The workshop is open from 12noon through to about 9.30pm, with a visit to a local for chillin & banter at the end of the day.

Who ?

Anyone, at any level of experience is welcome to come along, simply phone a day or two before to make arrangements.*

Where ?

Our workspace is located very close to Manchester city centre and has off-road parking available.  Access is via stairs or a lift, there are steps from the street too, but not many. Nothing that a bit of ingenuity won't sort out.

How Much does it cost ?

Nothing. It's free-of-charge. Although we do have a Tea Fund for those with cash to contribute.
